Read through chapter 7 for Monday. Now let's be a little creative!!! Write a minimum of a ten line monologue to perform in drama class on Monday. Write and in turn deliver the monologue (speech) as if you were a character in All Quiet on the Western Front. Be passionate, be thoughtful, be CREATIVE.
This war, this war is crazy.
People dying, bombs exploding.
These terrible images of war in my head.
Friends being killed, wounds so nasty it would make vomit at the near sight of them.
I can’t remember a time when things were normal.
I just want things to go back to the way they were before all of this mess.
I mean why me.
What did I get myself into?
Seriously what the hell was I thinking when I signed up for this.
I should have stayed in school like my family had said.
War has turned me into a heartless animal.
Yet I cannot get enough of it.
